A wet / damp Pollen Filter doesn't help.

How do you check that? Where is it located?
2 min job, lift bonnet, NS on the scuttle panel, lift flap, pull out Pollen Filter.

The filter looks dirty. There is a wire going across it, how do I remove the filter? With a flat head screw driver?
Don't touch what may look like clips at the edges - they aren't they are a solid moulding.

Grab top edge of filter, and pull top edge towards you. The filter will deform, and pop out from those "clips", then lift out.

Refit is slot bottom of filter in, then bend the top edge of the filter, and tuck the top corners behind the "clips", and push the top middle in last. Filter's shape will hold in. Refit is obvious once you start :y

The filter has an airflow arrow on the top, this should point towards the back of the car.

Just fitted the new one, with the arrows pointing down?

Does my 2001 2.6 CDX have that, or was it only on the Elite? Does it make much difference to the ride quality?

How do you upload a photo?

The original exhausts on the 2.6 and 3.2 (can't speak for a 2.2) had angled stainless tips which looked quite neat. Replacement GM back boxes had tips, but they were cut straight, and weren't stainless, so they rusted quickly. Aftermarket exhaust don't seem to have tips.
Whenever I have replaced a original GM back box which had the angled stainless tips, I have removed them (they are only held on by a couple of blobs of weld), and they fit quite neatly over the tips of the replacement. I hold them in place using few blobs of Loctite instant metal. Several years on, they are still in place.
The tips also are useful for extending the length of the tailpipe of replacement exhaust; some replacement tailpipes are a little short, and the tips extend them so that the end profile is the same as the original following the curve of the bumper.
Depends whether you are fussy about having the original look or not too.

Mine has covered 140,000 miles, so I'm guessing the back box is probably not the original. I'll take pic & upload.

What size in mm would I need for my 2.6?

you don't.
Not only are they ugly and tacky, but they are utterly unnecessary.

Thought it might tidy up the exhaust a bit?

Omega General Help / Re: Sunroof benefits

I use the sunroof all year round, and it's one of the extra features of an Elite I wouldn't do without. Tonight was a good example; with the outside temperature at 20(which is what I have the CC set to) there was a nice supply of fresh air as I wafted along the M2 at 75mph.

I like the climate control too, but it's more useful on cold damp days or when the temperature is above 25.

Is that will the blind open or closed?

you can't have the roof open and the blind closed!
Ahem...

You can have the roof raised with the blind closed ;)

I would have written that as 'tilted' not open, but I do see your point

Sorry Nick, that's what I meant tilited. Do you keep the blind closed on tilited?

Cheers guys. Get it tomorrow, will update. Want to change it before the aircon is regased.

If I change it, is it the normal filter or charcoal from Euro Car Parts?

You need the charcoal filter for your 2.6V6  :y

GM specify the charcoal filter for facelift cars, but the standard filter for pfl and mfl irrespective of climate fitted or not

HTH
Charcoal for all climate equipped Omegas, plain for the rest.

Thanks guys.
