Hello fellow Omega comrades fixed my boot problem with Andy B advice thanks Andy just wondering what the Ticking noise is when I enter the vehicle before I put the key in the ignition it is making a loud ticking noise coming from behind the dash?
It stops once I turn the ignition key and only returns when I go back to the car after a while sitting locked?
My initial feeling is it is part of the alarm immobiliser system? :y

that is probably the indicator relay (and the indicators should be flashing too :-\ )
because the alarm is going off (but the power sounder and alarm sounder have been removed )

You should unlock the car with the remote rather than the key :y

Yep it is the alarm as you say thanks.
Sadly my Fob is cream crackered so it is just the key for me.

It was obviously locked with the remote to keep triggering the alarm ::)
Fix the remote to fix the problem :y
