Had the Air Con re-gassed less than an year ago and the temp after it was done the air vents were around 5C. I will check what temp the vents are at tomorrow as it's now running warm.
I have searched for any sign of leaks with a UV torch and glasses but I can't find any. Is there any component in the Air Con system than can cause this other than a leak?

High and low, pressure valves can leak as well. Replaced both of mine, still leaks.
I gas mine at the start of the year, lasts least 6 months. So it's now just an annual job ;D

Valves, condensor, pump in that order in my experience.
Condenser tends to not be a slow process like you describe so I'd start with the other 2.
If all is well it should stay charged for years.

Guessing I need a proper thermometer to measure vent temp, all I have is an IR one...

When I took both valve caps off, both of them had a slight hiss initially but nothing after that. I could clearly see the dye inside but no signs outside.
Wouldn't there be signs of dye around the valves if they were leaking?
Do you have the part numbers for the valves and is it best to buy genuine?

Two years ago I had a aircon gas top up which did nothing. It turned out, after taking the Omega to Vx that the bottom of the condenser had rotted away. The compressor was also broken due to a lack of gas!
£1,000 approx later............ :o :o
Then the compressor failed again a year later, and I needed a new set tank......another £964 :o :o :o
But that £964 I got back after taking legal action against Vx Luton/my Vx dealer 8) 8)
Oh, the joys of an Omega, and anything to do with the a/c can be a bit expensive! 8) 8) ;D ;D

Fit a new LP and HP, then it will hold the pressure, then start to leak,from bottom of condenser. Joy and light I know. 8)

The hiss gives the game away. Replace both and regas, as others have said.

Anyone have the part numbers?
After replacement how quick do I have to get the re-gas done before the Dryer is knackered?

are they correct for a FL 2003?
Did a search and can only find them on the bay from the US.

Apparently the low pressure valve is a standard tyre valve core. Part number for high pressure valve is correct.
I trued to get one from my local VX dealer yesterday, but they were shut by lunchtime. ::)

The HP valve can be removed and cleaned with carb/brake cleaner, they are normally,just gunghed up.

Just been in touch with VX and they can't find a replacement LP valve under any of the 2 part numbers I gave or any of the ones on there system for my car.
They do have the HP 13277003 but Vauxhall said it did not match my system. :o
I would rather replace with new if I can.

Yes, that is the valve part no. of the one Vx replaced on my 3.2. ;)

The condenser seems to be the weak line in most AC systems due to it being vulnerable to the elements.
Think almost every car we have had over the past 15 years has required a new condenser .Last being 2007 Astra 1.6 which was the easiest of all to replace ,closely followed by the omega.
Currently got my wife,s 1.2 TCE clit to do...stupid French attach the condenser to the main coolant radiator so it comes as a single unit and circa £220 to replace.

Does anyone have a photo of the two extracted valves?
I was also given from another VX dealer p/n 3041827 but on his diagram it showed 2 on the same pipe so he said that can't be right and advised me to go to a specialist air con firm and may be they can help.
Its all getting a bit confusing. It should have been a simple buy and replace job.

An Astra G uses the same LP valve if that's any use :-\

Another question are the dust caps both black or should they be different colours?

I asked for the diagram to be emailed to me of the HP valve they matched with my vin and the diagram doesn't match the Omega, so it's a mistake on there system.
Are both dust caps interchangeable? They look the same except one has 24 and the other has 12 on it

As I stated before, that valve is for a 3.2, so will it fit your 2.2? ???

Sorry for being blunt.
Go to dealers order 13277003, tell them that's what you want,, then go to Halfords, buy a pack of tyre valve cores, and a valve core tool, then follow the guide how to the HP valve, then with your new tyre core tool remove old LP core, and fit new one, take to air con people get regassed..job jobbed.
