Forgot to add to my post the absolutely horrendous fine you face in Spain for filming a policeman.

They have alternate methods too for dealing with speeding and drink driving i believe..

Ah yes. You may bestopped by a cigarette smoking, arm out of the window cop who has just got in his vehicle having left the engine running while he went into a cafe and fined for an offence.

The list is published along with the fine. Things like driving bare chested, eating an ice cream, driving wearing flip flops all 80 euros. Further in the list is carry a fire extinguisher if towing a trailer!  The good news is Malaga province has just had its police reduced by 715. It is now like Britain.. you never see a policeman.

There are still quite a few in Spain who would welcome a return to that era.

Very true, though have a google for his tomb (built while he was alive with slave labour) . It is on my bucket list to visit before it is closed for good as there is no appetite to spend money.
