HS2 Ltd have made these strange zigzags they are making in the fields, what are they for?

perhaps looking for more funding  ;D

mandatory archaeological or more likely geographical survey by the looks of it  ,
surveying the geology for potential opencast gravel quarry for building  materials  :-\

Standard pre construction ground survey. Will be ground drilling next, for core samples, them arclogical digs

I know its making a bloody mess ;D.  That section isn't as advanced as some other bits round here, but thats the only bit the drone can reach with me hanging out of the bedroom window.

So survey work :y.  Bit late in the day if the ground aint suitable ;D Still, its only (our) money.

If Boris had any sense he would use the current bankruptcy of the country as an excuse (valid reason actually) to either cancel it or at least kick it into the long grass.
He U turns on everything else, so why not this too ?  ::)

Go around M25 near maple cross, that Construction site there is all HS2, start of the Chiltern tunnel,.
