 Front doors on central locking as stopped working on 4.6 V8 Vogue , locks with key :( Expensive to fix or cheap and cheerful  :-\

Either replace them for new ones @ about £150 each or remove them & clean them.

The motors are simple things really but the connections to the motors get dirty and need cleaning, as does the commutator and brushes. This involves removing the latch mechanism from the doors, taking the cover off to get to the motor, removing it, opening it up, cleaning it and putting it back together.

Have both front doors stopped working and if they have do they both lock with the key in the drivers door?

Both front doors not working with the fob but lock manually  ;)

No...what Pete wanted to know, for a reason obviously, was when you lock the drivers door with the key, does the passenger door lock as well. Because I doubt both motors would go together
