i have just updated my Garmin . on my laptop & using garmin express it estimated for a update of maps it would take 1hr 40mins but it actually took a lot less.  my daughter who lives in Hampshire has recently moved to a new house that her husband had built for them. they did have a static caravan & 2 mobile caravans on the land at one time & when it was my daughters 50th they put a marquee on site for a big do. i managed ok to get to Bordon Hants before i put the postcode in my cars nav. I set off but all it did was send me in a circle, 3 times i ended up at a car park near to where I,d set off from. the predicament I was in the only phone number i had was my daughters but as it was a surprise do phoning her was not an option. Luckily a grandson spotted me & all turned out ok.

since having this french  car I have always had problems putting post codes into the satnav. apparently its something to do with the french only using 4 digits & advising using longitude/. latitude co-ordinates. i believe some owners have installed other satnav systems on theirs so going to look down that route

  i do have a decent Garmin which has free updates available that i have installed in the past tho I would rather be able to use the in car one,..when I first bought this motor i did go back to the dealers & asked for somebody to show me what I may be doing wrong & the guy sat next to me for quite a while . nor could he put s post code in.

Is he replacing the sensor then?

  if faulty it will be changed. the warnings have never appeared  whilst mobile & because of that i am not sure , I would have thought if the nox is kaput the warning would appear every time i started the car,

  Its almost a 50mile each way trip to where I am going on Tuesday , but i know I will get sorted. at the moment no codes present. tho been in that situ twice before.

I think thats a DPF pressure sensor generic code, needs reading with a tool more customised to the Manufacturer to get the sub code and more detail

Just had a little chat with a PT contact here.

Apparently Shitroen use the very poor Conti NOx sensor setup which has a sensor and mini ECU located close together, he says the ECU is very pronce to water ingress and is likely the issue. Apparently they come as a matched pair (ECU and Sensor).

Being a NOx sensor it should easy enough to get at and change, the cost however might be a few hundred quid for the part

  I did once mention about it first happened after driving through water , no garage near me want the job so next Tuesday i am taking it to Wakefield to a guy thats really good with the computer analysing.

It's a straight four pot. Having Bank 2 pop up would be something of a surprise

 the dreaded UO20D code appeared again today so deleted it again & once deleted alls OK for quite a while . my query is knowing its a communication code does BanK 1 refer to the sensor ??     wishing all oof members all the best for 2023

recently i purchased two new number plates as my old ones have the E.U  flag  on them  & sometime in 2023 I intend a trip to Enschede , Holland. this might seem trivial but now we have the Union Jack the screw holes on the L/H side correspond with Union flag which needs a red hinge screw cap,  all the main car parts supply companies are just offering white, yellow, black & blue. I could not get a red,  did say it is trivial

Circus of clowns mess in charge of the country?

mp,s  have given themselves over £17,000 in pay rises since 2013 & last year they never had one,  also i bet if we were able to gain access to their expense account claims they wouldn,t be bothered about fuel costs

agreed , but just look at the pay rises since 2013 . over £ 17.000 I believe, but  one year they went without having one, poor sods , i could probably live off a mp,s  expenses.

i tried again yesterday to try & delete that U code. i do not know what I did different but pleased to say that I succeeded. I did google search the UO29D issue & came up with an article that stated that on some cars unless the code is deleted from the vehicles computer it may randomly return although the fault is not really there. also went on to say mainly french cars.
 Been contemplating  DPF delete , whats the OOF,s views on that
