ongoing issue. I have today checked all breathers and no leaks. I start the car with the MAF disconnected and it is okay, connect the MAF and it will eventually die, idles poorly.
Is it possible that one of the wires in the connector is knackered and not the MAF itself?
Also i noticed that one of the tubes connected to a box at the bottom of the air tube (the tube that runs down from the MAF, there is a oval type black box with 2 tubes). What does this do?
Is it okay to drive the car with the MAF disconnected? Will this cause any pressure on the engine?
