Breather pipe on axle or gearbox?
« on: 20 October 2006, 22:34:56 »

Can anyone help....
I have a small pipe coming up from on top of the gearbox somewhere it ends near the break servo and is not connected to anything.
Should it be connected and if so where.
Could this cause my car to have no power upto 2500rpm?
as lately it has been suffering from this problem.

thanks for any help

p.s. 2000 2.2cdx

seems of sometime then goes up and down and seems to run rough. above 2500rpm seems ok.
when you rev it in park it seems to stutter untill it sets to 2500rpm.
