Balanced the front wheels, checked the pressures(rears at 24psi - oops!), checked the fluids, cleaned the windscreen and lights and put £86 worth of fuel in it. Packed most of the stuff for a fortnight's holiday, as we're on the 07:35 P&O from Dover.
Now off for a curry and a couple of beers.

Spent the afternoon trying to tease the rear hub out of its hole. Eventually it's out but next challenge is the bearing. I feel like a midwife :-\

Put the finishing touches to the LPG conversion on the Mig and refitted all the bits and bobs I had left off. Then I tried to improve the LPG on my old Discovery but what ever I did it's a bag of bolts on LPG from 3k onwards. I'm guessing it's down to the fact it's just a really basic crap system.

Popped up to see Serek, to give my Vectra 2.2 dti a good once over.  Needed the codes reading and gave her a full service while we were at it.  It was great to see you again mate, and thanks for all your help and advice!  :y

When I left I brimmed the tank, and reset the fuel computer.  I then covered the 80 odd mile trip home, covering dual carriage way, A and B roads, at sensible cruising speeds, and managed an average consumption of 60.2mpg!!  :o

Well impressed!  :y
