Smilies
« on: 15 August 2019, 08:08:01 »

I seem to have lost the ability to add smilies to my posts. When I click on preview the blinking bar disappears from the end of the text I've typed and clicking on any given smiley has no effect.I then have to left click to get the blinking bar back on screen before continuing to type. This only seems to have happened since the last update or shortly after. So how do I get the smilies back?

I have the same problem.

I can see the "smilies", I can click on one, but it doesn't appear on the end of my sentence.

The current versions of Edge (up to Win 10 1903) are problematic with using the icons above the box you type in.  The next version of Edge will be based on Chrome, so likely will work, but if MS don't beef Chromes security, you'd be radio rental to use it.

IE works well, if you want to use built in browsers.

I haven't a clue what either of the above two posts means! If someone can tell me click on this/that/other then I'm in with a shout. Not a clue what Edge,I.E. or Chrome is or how to tell which I'm using. Not seen anything "pop up" on the screen so don't know about any blockers.
