Assumed saloon and estate are the same bearing? Is this not the case?

No, estate is wider and won't fit a saloon.


New rear bearings cost from £25 depending on whether you're prepared to risk an unbranded one - hint, that's what I used for both of mine

It seems no takers for the wheel bearing in over 24 hours James . . .So . . .

If no one wants it  . . .I will make use of it  but not sure when .  My estate failed the last MOT before I got the car , on 1 rear wheel bearing which must have been  changed . There seems no poblem with either one now so maybe both were changed  :-\ :-\

But if there is a spare one going as a freebie  . . I'm happy to put it in stock for a rainy day .
