Well finally the end to an era of owning Omegas :'(

I met Zirk today, the proud owner of the beast and what a nice bloke he is 8) especially when handing over pound notes ;D

Zirk it was a pleasure to meet you today and hopefully when there is another Essex Omega meet you can make.
Hopefully you are happy with your new toy and get plenty of motoring miles out of her :y

I am hoping to arrange an Essex meet within the next few weeks :-\  This depends on finding any available weekends due to other commitments, namely driving the kids here there and everywhere :D :D

So if you are interested in another meet keep an eye out in the meets section.

Best regards

JCB :y

Asking price around £500 but open to sensible offers.  I will be advertising elsewhere, just thought i would give the OOF community first dibs.

Any questions please ask?

If you have any legitimate questions please ask.  Please do not post anything unrelated to the add.

dbug - thanks for doing the pictures :y

Just to clarify a few points raised

The interior has wear marks on the back of the drivers and passengers seats and the drivers heated is non functioning. I will a picture later of the interior.
The LPG is a multipoint system and is fully working.  It has a 76L donut tank.

If there are any other related questions please ask :y

If Albs or anyone else near you cant help and your really stuck or need one urgently, Im just a bit further down and currently breaking a 3.0 plod with a known good one fitted, but your need to f around and take it off yourself as have a full weekend of work lined up, dont mind helpwith voltzge measurements etc, have a good Fluke DVM here. Chris.

Cheers Chris

Will keep that in mind ;)

Looks like Albs may have come up trumps for me already:y

9
Will PM you some pics shortly so you can compare and check if its the right one.  :y

140amp regulator is prone to failure whereas the 120 is pretty much bulletproof.

I will go with the 120A one if I can get hold of one :y

11
I may have one John.Definitely have a 120 amp,but iirc 3.2 one is rated higher than that ?
Will check when Im at home tomorrow. :y
2.6/3.2 can be fitted with either 120 or 140amp but for reliability the 140 is shite

Rob - I take it from this you mean dont bother with the 140A :o

I would have thought the other way round :-\

Thanks for the info though :y, hopefully my neighbour Albs will have a working one ;)

Nice to meet you to Keith :y  The pub was a nice touch as well ::)

15
I will phone them today to confirm we will be attending. look forward to meeting some of you who I havnt met before. I will be bringing Dave Waddington along with me. he is the chairman of ABS for those who dont know him. Also for those who dont know, he had a botched cateract operation done in hostpital that has left him blind in one eye and with no focusable vision in the other. not nice for someone who has a Lotus carlton on the drive and knowing that he will never be able to drive it again. I will post up directions/postcode shortly for those who dont know the area.
Keith B

Hopefully see you Saturday 8)  Shame about Dave, I think I met him once in the past :-\  Anyway see you Saturday,  weather and health dependant. ::)
