Ragged the nads off the Battlebus, once again, I was easily led.  Once again, I lost badly, but not due to overheating this time, I just need more power ;D

Once home from Guildford, did the alternator on TBE.  Discovered whilst reseting all the windows, the OSR window isn't working.

V8 swap   8)
oh wait , there's barely enough room for the tractor engine in that bay as it is  :P

My N/S/R window stopped working , I never sit in the cheap seats ,so I'm in no rush to fix it ,though I should investigate if it's the motor or just a wiring loom fail in the door shut (neither switch does anything)

No time for car work the last few days, despite the plastic Welsh hatchback giving trouble again.
I have been attempting bricklaying (well blocks actually) for the first time. Ive built an 8 foot by 3 foot house for swmbo,s 3 inch tortoise. ::)
Problem now is that we dont know if it will ever move in, as Ive poisoned the poor little thing. I gave it some fresh leaves for breakfast Sunday morning and swmbo spotted that one of them was deadly nightshade just as it started nibbling at it.
It has been quite poorly ever since.  :(
The fact that it has still been eating like a miniature horse and expelled quite a lot of it out its rear end today, gives me hope it will recover.  :-\
If it doesnt, Im completely in the doghouse (or recently built tortoise house) for the rest of my days.  ::)

I'll smash the Merc's window, that'll get you running out...

Wouldn't need to, you'd be on video :y
I'd be the one in the striped pyjamas, and a bag with SWAG on it.

Not a pretty sight :o

But better than not in striped pyjamas  :D

Swapped out the climate panel in anticipation of getting the aircon regassed tomorrow.

Technically the second regas as the compressor clutch wiring and failed duovalve (german for hbv, and not plastic :D) prevented it from working the first time ::)

Painted some rocking horse poo silver (MV6 pro-drive towing eye cover )  :P
then improvised a stand to paint the bumper
1 etch primer coat, 2 grey primer coats

there's quite a bit of real estate to the front bumper when your prepping and painting  :o

yes, I didn't paint it in the paint booth with extractor fan kitchen  :-X

think it will need 2 base coats and 2 or 3 clear coats
the woman who side swiped me is paying for the paint ,which I think is very fair ,
because people need financial penalty to learn NOT to do it again  ;D

Why etch primer, it only does anything on Galv and aluminium, surely the semiflexible plastic primers are better?

yes plastic primer would have been best ,but I didn't have any ,or it's hiding somewhere  :-[

I'd sanded down to the the plastic in places rather than fine surface putty type filler, I built up with primer  ,

but i have used etch before  on bumpers ,only comes off when someone crashes into you  ;D

chances are that someone will damage it again within a week or so anyway knowing my luck  :(

Your right, so what you should is paint it Rubens red and then send it down to me. I promise I will take very good care of it.  :y
