When its warmer gets my vote, any time except June when the Omega will be on its way to Espania again. As a halfway house geordie I will translate Broocies phrase " a dook in the burn ". This means to take advantage of a nearby stream or river to facilitate personal washing when no other alternatives are available.

Well theres a river runs down the glen, (which is good for swimming) theres two bridges, and you have a choice of taking the high or low road to the Clova Hotel (the high road to the left is better :y) , and take the low road on the way back :y, theres also a wee walk up the side of one of the mountains, where you can view eagles rock and lochnagar from, about an hour from the hotel :y, alternatively you can do the 14 mile hike across Jocks road to the pub in Breamar ;D ;D..............or just stay at the Clova  [smiley=beer.gif] [smiley=beer.gif]

Sounds as if there are a few good ideas floating about.

As long as there's omega talk and tinkering, some occasional frivolity and general larking and tomfoolery. Washed down wi' a wee dram or twa.

Looking 4ward to it.

There are a total of 10 votes cast thus far and 3 of them were mine....

Looks like a fair set of responses to the thread and looks most encouraging.

How about voting as well and give some kind of steer as to what the collective wants to do??

What about Skylarking, surely there's always room for a bit of Skylarking?

B, i've voted for "when its a lot chuffin warmer than above" mainly because me and cold ain't the best of friends.  :y

It's also heartening to see that we're up to 3 pages already, and the meet's not till next year. Ahhh, the possibilities....  ;D

If it doesn't have sky, as long as there is a tv and an ariel I'll bring a freeview box.

Skylarking sounds interesting Kev, but a weekend of complete and utter nonsense appeals somewhat as well.
