Title: TIMING BELT ON 2.2 PETROL ENGINE
Post by: 2boxerdogs on 22 March 2012, 16:03:43
Day off today, so cleaned the estate also checked through service receipts, timing belt last changed in Sept 2008 at 49,000 miles now on 79,000 is the interval the same as 2.6 4 years or 40,000 miles?I'm guessing it will be   only cover about 600 miles per month in this one, so will have done about 82,0000 miles by Sept.

Yes, 4yrs/40k miles, whichever is soonest :y

Being a cambelt driven waterpump, recommended to replace that at the same time, along with a coolant change.
