Title: Tractor Drivers in the South?
Post by: Pitchfork on 21 April 2007, 18:37:34
I thought that it might be a good idea to see how many TD (BMW) owners who subscribe to the forum live in the South
Given the apparent rarity of the beasts (judging by the main dealer in Basingstoke never having any spares in stock through lack of demand) it would be good to know that I'm not alone in having one of these work-horses
If we know the geographical spread of kindred spirits, asking for, or offering hands-on help & advice would be extremely useful
Where are you?

I'm on the Bucks/Oxon/Northants border. Omegatoy not too far from me, I think he currently has 3 tractors...

Im currently midlands (Cov) but will be West London (Ealing) in about a month-ish.

I know what you mean about parts, i dont think the guy at the parts desk in my local Vx knew there was a bmw engine in my car... tit.

I love my tractor, and she loves me.

LOL, there is very little tractor info in the Vauxhall reference stuff, so I don't think you can blame your local dealer...

There's a fella who rents a garage across the way from me who has at least 4 of the things...seems a bit handy with the spanners as he's breaking 2 of them and has swapped engines around on the other 2.  Must get him to join the forum next time I see him...

Interested in the running temps of your tractors, and the gauge scale. Temps when cruising, and when pushing it a bit would be ideal :y
