Topped up the screenwash on the Omega and Boxster - that was it for the day.
Will probably revisit Pierre tomorrow if my patience is feeling strong.
Refitted cambelt and other bits a couple of days ago and it wound over on the starter without any worrying noises.
No sign of it trying to start at all though.
Sprayed a bit of brake cleaner down the air intake and it fired up and ran for a few seconds.
Fault code suggests a problem with fuel supply, and it does indeed behave as though its not getting any fuel.
Cant imagine why it has decided to do this when the cambelt apparently jumped a few teeth while it was ticking over though.
should make the insurance cheaper then
Quick service on the Omega. Oil, oil filter, air filter, pollen filter, and cleaned the breathers.
I think it should do about 50mpg now with all that new clean shiny stuff.
That's because everything goes in, skin and all..Yep, that's why I buy them, plenty of salt and vinegar makes a lovely butty. But I like a bacon butty too, and I got two packs of bacon for £3.40. I suppose I could have bought the smart price fish fingers at £1odd for 20 of them, but I like a bit of fish in my fish fingersASDA up to £178.7 this morning, that's two 2p raises within the last week..
Also....30 Birds Eye fish fingers £6.50, shove 'em.
Lurpak spreadable, 750g, £7, shove it.
Used to like a fish finger sarnie, but now out of our poor pensioners reach !
The fish in cheap fish fingers always looks a dirty grey colour, puts me right off.

And here was me saying, a couple of weeks ago, that my astra was ready for the knackers at 99K

If they we're going to escort an airliner on the off chance that they might have to shoot it down, then you can guarantee that it won't be anywhere near Central LundunI thought same, but strangely concerning to see as couldn't make out it was RAF
