Has anyone had one?
I've been offered a mini facelift MV6 3.0 Manual for pennies but it's been standing for over 2 years and the arches are to far gone to return to the road so i'm thinking strip it right back, put 15" alloys on it and trailer it to Oulton Park and have some fun

I answered a wanted ad mid January for one of these and struck a deal but have decided to put it back up for sale after having no contact.
Irmscher mini facelift estate rear spoiler but will fit facelift Omegas. In generally good condition but one of the nuts has pulled out of the spoiler but this can easily be sorted by bonding a suitable nut in the hole. Asking £60 delivered.

I've decided to break the old bus
MV6 Fronts with working heaters (i'll get a better pic than this because the drivers side looks worse than it actually is) and Elite Rears complete with loom but no switches £80 collected.
MV6/Elite 17" alloys could do with a refurb £80 collected
MV6 Front bumper complete with washer jets and towing eye cover (better pic tomorrow)£80
Cruise control switch £17.50 posted
Variable speed wiper switch £17.50 posted
Elite door cards usable £20 collected
Door lock solenoids £17.50 posted
HIDS with clear lenses and adapted to work with none self levelling suspension but need new adjusters £25 collected

Cars for Sale & wanted / For Sale 2.2 DTi Estate £350

I've been considering selling the desmond for about 6 months now mainly due to the fact I have a works van and the Omega sits outside the house hardly covering 100 miles a month. I jumped in her this morning and she started after the glow plug light went out as she always has done but after about 7 miles she cut out and wouldn't start again. There is no engine management light or codes stored and once I got towed to my lock up and she cooled down she started again but once warmed up cut out again. I'm not even bothering to look at it it's either being sold complete or i'm removing some of the goodies and it's off to the scrapyard for the old girl.
It's a 52 plate estate in noctourno blue and she started out as a GLS but I've fitted Elite HIDs, MV6 leather front seats and the heaters work, Elite black, back leather seats, MV6 front bumper which was painted about 12 months ago and MV6/Elite later "17 alloys which need a refurb.
It's covered about 168,000 miles and has always had an oil and filter change every 6 months while I've had it plus there's MOT until the 29th October. The bottom of the rear doors have rust plus there's rust on the rear tailgate. She no looker but cleans up quite well, oh and i've polybushed the front wish bones last year just before the MOT. I have a few spares like inlet manifold, EGR valve, plus other bits and bobs. If someone wants the complete car I would like a deposit by the 19th of this month and the car removing by the 26th of this month. If the car has sold complete by the 19th then i'll break it.
Just in case I end up breaking it.

I decided to sell my jag because I've done less than 500 miles in the last 8 months. The jag is really low mileage and the only thing letting it down is a little bit of lacquer peel on the rear wing so I decided to get that sorted before I sell it. Anyway, I bumped into an old friend who i hadnt seen for about 20 years, has a little body shop about 20 miles away from where I live and he said he would do it for me mates rates. In the meantime I have another friend who said he wanted my car if I still had it when he came off his holidays. The jag went off with £50 to go towards materials 5 weeks ago and all I've had are excuses off the bloke doing the job, he's even said his landlady of his garage wants to buy it. I called him yesterday and managed to speak to him and the latest excuse is his misses has dumped him and he needs a little time to sort his head out so I said just give me the keys and I'll take the car and it's one less headache. I've text him this morning to say I'm going to collect the car today but as yet he hasn't replied plus I only know where his garage is and not where he lives. What would you do next if it was your car? TIA

I've bought a car and I've booked in for MOT Monday morning but i'll be in work so I've arranged to drop it off Sunday night and drop the keys through the letter box. Now I know it's ok to drive a car to the MOT without tax or MOT so long as it's insured but will I be ok driving it the there night before?

. I've decided to sell the facelift Irmscher front bumper I have. It comes complete with foglights and headlight washer jets and is in a good condition apart from some scraping to the underside caused by low kerbs over the years but you can't see that unless you lie down. The paint job on it is very armature and it really needs stripping back and starting again but apart from that its a good one and becoming rare now. It's filthy in this pic but I'll get more next week when I'm off work. I'm looking for £300 ono posted to UK mainland.

Arriving on Thursday is an 02 2.2 DTi Elite saloon in star silver with black leather and I'm breaking it for spares. All parts are available and I'll start stripping on as soon as it arrives. Collection is possible from my lock up just off the A55 in Chester and I can post as well, prices do not include postage

I'm after buying a couple of parts off Gumtree, only problem is the parts are in Kirkcaldy so too far to go and collect. That means I'll have to send money to a person I don't know and hope they don't rip me off. Any suggestions or any ideas if there are any couriers that will pay for the parts on collection

Omega General Help / Lower ball joint recommendations

I'm going to be rebuilding my wishbones in a couple of weeks so i've got my front poly bushes and Vauxhall rear bushes and got a price from work for genuine Vauxhall ball joints, £41.76 each side and that's cost price. That's worth more than the car so has anyone got any recommendations? I've seen Fabi at £20 each delivered, any good?
