The Honda is in for service and MOT tomorrow, it will be collected between 9 and 11am and returned between 3 and 5.30pm. And that is from the main dealer 15 miles away. I will also get a further 12 months Recovery via the AA, and an option to take a further 12 months warranty that covers all Mechanical and Electronic failures, including code reading. Not sure about the latter as it is about £300.00 for the year, and Honda's tend to be top of the reliability scores..................

So I did.... I must have had one of those 'Senior Moments' that STEMO keeps talking about..............

Anyway it passed, needed new pads, but we shan't talk about the bill............
Suffice to say, next year it will be my local independent who will service it, and I will pay for a wash and vacuum.............

No, but nearly as expensive as a Mercedes for genuine parts...........

Merc consumables are pretty reasonable... genuine front pads for the E Class were £57 inc
