Replaced wiper rods (the ones from the motor to the spindles) with new ones from Wipex and reset the park position.

Still to be tested in torrential rain, but testing with watering cans and a hose it seems to have resolved the issues of wipers hitting the A post and the bonnet with no adjustment left apart from tangling the blades together!

Big difference between the old rods that were taken off and the new ones which are a much more snug fit on the ball joints.

Drove TBE to Burford so she could visit some saddo shop. Bliss to drive a proper car again :)

I'm worried how much old shite she is buying, as she's been in there ages!

Over the last few weeks .............

Rear bumper off
Rear plastic arches off
Side skirt end panels off
All rust on suspension mounts, chassis and arches ect removed with a wire brushed / wire wheel
Everything blathered in Crust (anti rust stuff) then hand brushed with black chassis paint with extra underseal for those places that tend to rot.
Rear brakes back plate cleaned up and painted in chassis paint.
Rear discs cleaned up and painted in silver BBQ spray paint.
Calliper's cleaned up painted in metallic blue high temp paint.
Bilstien B4's fitted to the rear.

And before next weekend (weather permitting) ........................
Side skirts off
Front plastic arch liners off
Attack any rust
Paint everything as per the back end
Fit new polybushed wishbones, drop links and track rods
New front B4's

Replace all LPG pipes from the Vaporiser to the injector blocks with new pipe.

After that lot, get the wheels all pointing in the right direction again then pish off down to the burger van for a long (hopefully dirty) weekend

Fun was had in a proper car, I just used TBE to get there and back.  That said, compared to a week in the Battlebus, TBE is shear bliss :y
