Yup, all done!
« on: 27 June 2007, 17:51:21 »

Started it all this morning, engine flush, oil change, filter change! :y
And following forum advice carefully, got the plenum off, and cleaned the throttle bodies, breathers and plenum! :y
Put it all back together and it all seemed to work :)
Drove down the road, COOLENT LEVEL came up on the display :-?
Had forgot to put on the water pipes to the plenum :-[ :-[ ;D Water everywhere!
Filled up the water, made sure the pipes were back on, and, what a difference!
Would never have thought that a good cleaning and oil would make such a difference! :) :) ;)

I know it aint a big job for a lot of you guys, but for me it a small victory! If nothign falls off ;)
And I would have been well phucked if it hadnt have been for you lot and advice given, cheers. :y

But still stalling :(

And that long belt at the frount that goes roung the thats the cam belt right? Well a few of the little wheels it loops round are making an orible squeeking sound, like there dry of lube of somthing. Any ideas? :-/

So if a code 19 comes up what is the problem then? :-?

Mine was very slightly missing at 500 rpm tick over, if i turned the air con on it would also cut out....

So I reckon mine could have been a mixture of things,
1/ plugs and Leads
2/ the ICV wanted cleaning out
3/ the air con needed filling, which allowed the pump to turn very slowly even when turned off

In that case, either do it or get it done straight away - make sure that it is the full kit which means belt, tension rollers and rollers.  If your mileage is fairly high say 80K and above, then get the water pump changed as well.  Broken tension roller means broken engine!!

Just stating this in case you do not already know!
