Loaded up the Mondeo Estate with lots of rubbish from the garage, and went to the tip feeling very smug. Drove home and emptied the rubbish back into the garage! >:( >:( >:(
The tip is closed for ten days for re-design or some such. >:( >:(
I'd like to say how much I enjoyed my afternoon. :-X :-X :-X

Looks open to me ... if it was the Swindon tip you went to...

That’s not a very good indicator. You can only see seven vehicles, there could be 150 behind them  ;D

The other lanes would be filling up of cars if the furthest lane was full  ;)

Had bits of M3 that I was chasing down disintegrate into the front of me.

I did chuckle to myself, serves the arrogant tosser right, even more so after I checked no damage to mine ;D

Did he run out of talent or just destroy the engine? ???
The disintegration and his complete lack of any driving abilities were unrelated.  Much to his annoyance, he was piss easy to keep up with, as what he gained on the short straights was more than lost on any corner/roundabout.

First the tow eye cover flew off into the front of mine. Then something else hit the car, I initially assumed a stone or something, but then noticed rear bumper was vibrating, so I turned off and went a different way, as didn't fancy driving into that.

Just sat inside another Omega today, Estate though but still. Xenon from factory, self leveling suspension, black recaro leather seats and even those plastic wooden trims were black in color! Bose stereo with telephone and who knows what else.
It only has first and reverse on the tranny so went to see if my laptop would be of any use trying to see what actually works and what doesn't.

I WANT ONE  :'(

Don't think they are, but thinking about it I was asked for proof of address last time I went, I had my drivers licence on me, so that was ok....

What's the import tax like? Sounds like it's worth hiring a van and driving a load of spares down from UK.

Nothing. I've done nothing to any of them in what feels like forever.

Bloody hernia repair, wish it would hurry up and heal.

Jumped in TBE to drive to station, pressed the memory button for my seat settings, and all the mirrors moved as expected. Bliss.

Felt a bit flat, so did the honourable thing and gave it a good spanking.

Finally had enough of driving the bloody German everywhere at 45mph... and bought its replacement (albeit a stop gap one >:( :-X)... I resisted the temptation to part ex it though, as it was technically sold in August ::)

Collect a slightly scruffy, but fundamentally solid manual Desmond estate later today...  :D
