That's some motoring :o but for a truly proper lap record it has to be set during a race doesn't it?Although that one I think would class as an outright lap record which is a slightly different beast.

It's the ring, and it counts.

Also that car isn't legal to race, it has skirts and other aero-aids, and it's 4wd, engine in back, lectricy in front.

Top speed was 369kph (229mph) 8) which is a bit faster than your 90yo spinster aunt normally goes when doing her local shopping. :D ;D

Although I'd love to have a drive around the Nurburgring, I'd have probably got the best out of the experience when I was 19 and invincible!  :)  Even if it was in a mustard coloured Marina!  ;D

I did however ride a rev up and go moped around the Sachsenring once after the German MotoGP.  :y  My lap time sadly wasn't recorded!  :(  :D

They wouldn't have walked away with the lap record as easily if you had. ;D
