Following on from the first post by Broocie.

This seems to have kind of petered out recently, so based on the recent influx of jocks onto the forum,  (plus I owe Broocie a dram or several) I thought I would try and rekindle interest.

As stated in the post, any suggestions are welcome, Location, Duration, Dates.

I voted & suggest the first weekend of may.
Any sooner & we are a bit short on notice, any later & we are getting near to the suggested lake meet.

I think an invite should be extended to the TECH2 boys??
I'm sure the jocks could keep 'em in work for a day or two if they wanna venture over the border??

I'll ger some dates checked for availability of the ATC hut at Glen Clova sometinme during the week and post up....

If this is what you want to go for, bear in mind its mark1 basic in the accomodation stakes, ie sleep in a bag on the floor, wash in the burn, dump in a can etc.........  But the walks and views are second to none....   :y

Needs to be later / much later for me im afraid....anything before July is a no go for me.....

That includes the lakes this year  :'( jeez i may as well be in the pokey ( im not by the way  ;D)

Just got confirmation from the friend with access to the Cadets lodge at Clova.  Its no longer available to us as its requiring work.  They are unsure of when they intend to repair it so want to keep all weekends free.  Will need to consider an alternate??

Well we could use my place - if it was a working meet - oh no we cant i need to move out because i have a huge drive and a view and cant afford me new Council tax.

Cud do, there is a camping area there for anyone who would like to stay, or we could just have a gathering/barbecue/pissup with allocated designated drivers. :y

As per staying/meeting, dont know how the park authorities would be about a big group of cars parking in their site. :-/
