Title: Mercedes W208 Clk wiring Q...
Post by: Doctor Gollum on 10 January 2019, 18:17:24
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the Parktronic system for the above?

I am planning to fit Parktronic to the Trolley, and have acquired a complete Clk loom for it with ecu and displays,
but trying to identify three wires...

They're as follows:

Pin 6 BlueGrey possible exterior lights via Pin 10 on 21 pin grey plug (rear SAM?).
Pin 27 YellowBlack possibly Diagnostic socket pin 28? Which pin on OBD2 socket?
Pin 28 BlueRed possible reverse lights/gearbox via Pin 3 on 21 pin grey plug (rear SAM?).

I have identified the rest of the loom using a w210 diagram, but struggling with the above due to different pin outs on the ecu and different wire colours.

Also after the Parktronic diagrams for the w168 in order to cross reference to the car, as Haynes doesn't cover it and common points on the diagrams have different wire colours. Only seven connections to the car, including +12v and -12v, so only actually 5 to figure out, but would prefer not to fry something in the process... ::)

This forum http://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/index.php isn't bad if you ignore the default answer of .... 'get the codes read on STAR'  ::) ::)

Have spent the last few days rummaging around to no avail...

Nearest I found was an advert that read 'having retrofitted parktronic and heated seats to my Clk, the old interior is now for sale...' no mention anywhere else on the forum to the actual work involved ;D

Of course not as they all use their local indie  ;D ;D

last time I went to a local indie they gave me a quote of £2500 for a new turbo & actuator  .....I thought I'd give that a miss on a 10 yr old car. £200 on a recon'd actuator did the trick (though I have to admit the car's starting to have the same problem again  :( )
