Headlight Adjusters
« on: 09 February 2013, 16:33:25 »

Hi Everyone,

Is there an easy way of testing the front headlight adjusters?
I have the dreaded Low/Vision message ... the level sensors appear to be OK and all arms are attached as they should be.
I have a "My Naff Code Reader" diagnostic thing ... when plugged in gives the following message:-
Total number of fault codes: 1

B2693 - Left Servomotor Position Sensor, Power Supply Range/Performance
 (00) - Present
I swapped over the light adjusters on each headlight, expecting the fault to jump sides... it remained the same...mmmmmm
Does anyone have any ideas ?

Regards

Steve.

Sounds like a dodgy lift motor on the headlights.

If sensors ok and servomotors ok look for a break in wiring between sensor and motor  :y

If the fault didn't move with the servo, its gotta be wiring...
