2003 (03) 2.2 DTI CDX in silver.
157000 miles
MOT middle of December
Fitted new front pads and a new tyre this week.
Towbar with single electrics in very good condition. Doesn't look very old.
Drives and pulls well. Engine clutch and gearbox all in good working order.
I don't have much history with the car except a few receipts and the original handbook pack showing a service book stamped up to 2010.
Condition wise is very tidy for the miles. A few marks here and there. Arches have slight rust under the lip but it's not visible yet. I have treated it and undersealed aswell.
I averaged 48mpg on a run.
Only points to mention is the central locking isnt working and I only have the green slip of the log book

Omega General Help / eml light

When I start the 2.2dti I have just bought the eml light comes one for about 10 seconds then goes off completely for the rest of the day. Not showing any codes and runs really well. Only thing I have done is change the brake pads and taped the wires off the low warning sensor together as it broke away from the old pads. I can't see how this would have an affect but I was just curious.

« on: 10 August 2015, 16:06:58 »Unfortunately, owners of such cars tend not to be members of OOF! And if an OOF member new of such a beauty, he would snaffle it first. I was fortunate enough to buy one 4 years ago at 48K.
I know, to be honest most cars are used in that way and very few are taken care of like i do with my cars....... but there is no rush and finding the right one could be a journey in itself

Due to the crank sensor causing a few intermittent problems on the Elite and going away tomorrow I have picked up a 2003 2.2 Dti CDX to add to the driveway as a temporary vehicle. Knowing me though I'll end up keeping it lol
