Screenwash at ECP
« on: 15 September 2019, 20:17:19 »

Clean out of stock in my garage for a while, been struggling to find a deal.

But my local ECP gave me “garages” price in store, £11.99 for 25L drum of concentrated stuff. Not a bad deal, I’ve bought it cheaper before, around £1.80 for 5L but this deal is reasonable.

I find it good stuff with no problems, I know a certain individual finds it poor though!

Sadly can't do it online, just tried and even using today's BS code, it was still £25.50 for 25l.  :-\ Obviously you have to make the trip into the store.

Occasionally Toolstation have the Preston's stuff at £3-3.50 /5L. I find that works well.  :y

Yeah online the price is rubbish with no discounts, shops/other local places also steep. So fairly pleased at this offer, might be worth calling by one when passing and asking for same deal as I got.  :y

I nearly did the same at Wilko's, but stopped when I realised it was £4 for ready mixed!

It doesn't stay in her car long enough for that (she washes the window a lot) ;D although the BMW might suffer .. that said, it needs a new washer bottle as anything over 50% fill and it leaks right back out again  :-X

Reminds me I must adjust her washer jets - the far left (four jets, two nozzles) is currently only useful for giving pedestrians a free shower  ;D

Or, like last time I used that TripleQX shite from ECP, found it froze, neat, and shagged a headlight washer, which was over £50, plus a bumper off job to fix it.

I use the Halfords Berry (-10C) concentrated stuff most of the time, 20% in summer, 100% in winter, or in Jan/Feb, the Citrus -20C stuff.  Cheap enough (effectively free for me, as I have a near never ending supply of Halfords vouchers) on trade, convenient, and cashback as well (which often goes towards yet more Halfords vouchers ;D)
