note the reason for crashing on cam 3 ,He forgets to switch from REVERSE to DRIVE ,rams the Omega,then the JOLT reminds him to select DRIVE, and get away,as fast as possible (rather than do the decent thing and STOP and apologize ) nearly crashing into the poor Ford Focus driver

When things like this happen, Dave, you've just got to laugh. It's no good feeling hard done to, it's gets you nowhere. When Mo's astra was set alight, it took us about ten minutes to start joking about it. Police were useless, insurance company were great, that's life.

At least, in your case, it was only an old shed, not a new astra.

it had spent a good chunk of it's life in a garage

Indeed, don't I know that it is a bloody nightmare when that happens and with our miggies it is a fight to get what you know the car is worth and how relatively rare they are.  I challenged my insurance company to find another one with that kind of low mileage and with matching spec; in fairness they, Ageas, agreed and paid out what was required to put mine back on the road. Dave would have the same battle

Again, it involves buying flour ,eggs and cooking oil in great quantity = expense £££ to me
