The main reason I had never considered a RR is the horror stories of running costs, I have every bill for this vehicle & all seem fairly reasonable to me , the OE air suspension pump fitted at 60,000 miles was £653.00  I had far bigger bills on the Hyundai.

I just had to have the alternator and rear passenger door lock assembly replaced (the former because, well, it was knackered and the latter because it was an MOT fail) - £800 at a local indy for a Denso alternator and OE lock assembly, fitted.. I didn't think that was too bad.

It had two new EGR valves under warranty, that was £1000.. but at least the cranks don't snap on the TDV8, unlike the TD & SDV6 ;)

Now you can go and get yourself a remap for a healthy 320hp and 550lb/ft or somewhere in that region from either Bell Auto Services or Alive Tuning :y

My pal at work has had his remapped ,but I don't think I would bother I'm old school , like my vehicles completely as they left the production line that's what attracted me to this one completely stock.

My last 5 vehicles have all been silver, would really like a nice metallic blue but beggars can't be choosers! You know what I mean Opti 😀

That's cheap!  :o  ::)

Agree about the wheels and not uncommon to see Range Rovers with hideous after market alloys....  ::)  :(

Looking suitably demonic in black and probably a few grand more than Mr Tilbo paid. :)

The on going oil leak is the biggest item of concern. Well that and the airbag warning...

Suspension and brakes on a car that size are very much regular service items  :y

No need ;D

A car I am considering has nothing worse than a couple of tyres and a smattering of ball joints, so no concern :y

It's the first thing I look at when considering a car purchase , gives a good insight to see if a car has been looked after.
