Gave it a good workout on Saturday, in order to get a replacement server to one of my brothers shops, when one of his decided to spill its milk  >:(

Cooked the brakes in the process, grrr.  Must mean the pads are about spent on it.

Is this the mig or the jaaaag?

I'm confident the Jag pads will be inexpensive to replace  ;)

It was the Shaguar.

Pads are cheap enough - about £40 front, £25 rear for Bosch (in absence of anything else decent about now), and about a fiver each for the wear sensors front and rear.  And I have a complete set in the garage, ready for when the time came.

I last changed them for Pagid about a year ago (hence the suspicion they are spent, rather than something more sinister being the reason they cooked), nothing unique about them, look pretty Ford-esque to me.

I'm a little short of time for a couple of weeks, then need to get TBE MOT'd, assuming I bother. So the big Pussy will have to wait.

Paid for another years warranty with Vauxhall after three year one expires in December. I do not like the sound of the timing chain slapping the casing on startup, and I definitely don't like the noise the gearbox is making above 30mph.

My experience of Pagid in the last 2 or 3 years has been variable.  Now they are exclusive to ECP, I won't touch them with a shitty stick.

Even with discount, genuine were outrageous...  ...although I partly suspect my dealer is being a self-abuser.

They'll be the 2 things excluded in the small print then. ::)
