Hi all
I'm leaving Southend-on-Mud about 9am tomorrow (Wednesday), to land in Birmingham (Hockley) between 3 & 5pm (via Rayleigh & Basildon)
Leaving Brum between 3 & 6 (depending on arrival time), probably only there long enough for tea & cake
Route will be A127, M25, M1 & M6, although this is flexible (A14, A1, M11 etc)
Any use to anyone?
Am taking a focus, and only a small load in the boot, no passengers
HTH

My blowers are dead. No matter if i hit aircon or windscreen demist, it all lights up but no blow.
Fuses all ok, and managed to get my hand in the fan behind the glovebox, rotates freely
Before i take the glovebox out to check for power at the fan, anyone got any tips?
Cheers

General Car Chat / Re: Insurance Renewal Notice:

I recently went from a 3.0 to a 3.2, and Swiftcover wanted a .79p admin fee.
I told them it would cost more to process than 79p.....but they wanted it anyway
I sent them 79p in small change wrapped in sellotape in a jiffy bag, just to be awkward, even though it cost me £2 to send it.
Got a receipt 4 days later

« on: 23 June 2012, 00:49:15 »and if you open any door on omega and look up you will see a 3 inch strip that you can take out for rack to be fitted
Considering I spend most of my life looking up, I'm a little embarrassed now
Twonk.
I bought a set of bars off the bay of e ... feet were Thule 951 (4 needed) , bars were Thule 761 (2 needed) ... although bought for bikes/roofbox, I have carried a ladder a few times, a settee (don't ask ), a rather long aerial pole, and a folding wheelchair ... but not all at the same time !!!
useful things are roof bars ..

Assuming you mean the Kursaal, I wouldn't bother, and most of the 127 has 70 then 50 mph average cameras.
All a bit sh*te really!

Nicely done rob, many thanks for your time & effort
I'm in, 100%, what ever it comes to!
And scotchblocks? Never in a million years, solder & heatshrink is the only way!
I'd like to add if anyone round my way can't solder, I'm happy to volunteer my services for biscuits

Probably a stupid question, but does one exist for a F/L saloon?
If so, recommendations?
Really only want it for short stepladders, and the occasional lightweight bit of trunking etc.
