Replaced all the seals in the aircon system along with the drier and expansion valve.

Only evidence of a leak was at one of the condenser connections so hopefully it will now actually hold a charge for more than five minutes ::)

The belt idler pulley is starting to crack, so it looks like I need to raid Mercedes tomorrow...

:P I have actually been to Luton four times this week  :o

Stansted for the day next week and possibly Cardiff for two days at some point. Exhausted just thinking about it :D

As it goes, that little lot wasn't much more than an afternoons worth ;)

Ordered a new pair of bonnet struts for the Range Rover , noticed when checking the washer fluid that the bonnet was descending slowly..

Was the bonnet closing or the suspension collapsing??

😄😄😄. Definitely bonnet , thankfully all pump & ancillaries replaced by previous owner not that I use it often, I'm big enough to step into it.

Acquired some goodies for The Barge...

Namely facelift bi xenons, complete with washers, ecu and looms and the plumbing/associated gubbins for heated washer reservoir and parking sensor gubbins. Which is nice.  :D

Nice pass!!

I had advisory for that too.  I can't remember what year your is?  If it's pre 2006, good luck with the rusty torx screws and the brittle plastic lens cover.  Later cars tend to have better fixings which don't turn to dust when provoked.

The first job I did when I bought car was new number plate bulbs, I put some copper slip on the screws, come out real easy,, it's the little brass terminal that the bulb sits in,,  I've given up fixing them.
