It may seem very odd me asking for help, but here goes.

I have full confidence with Omega engines, especially V6 - however, I do not excel with suspension work.

My MV6 needs a rear wheel bearing which I understand is a pig of a job.

Any takers? Paid job of course....

I hate getting covered in crap as a general rule, but bring it over to North Hampshire and I'll reduce the book time on replacement for that...because they are a piece of pi$$ to do.

In fact, you want to change both sides (if one has failed, the other isn't far behind), and they are cheap.

1. Your ability to think laterally
2. Your level of common sense.

I say they are a piece of pi$$ to do because I know how it works, but that doesn't follow that it is a piece of pi$$ for somebody who cannot think laterally.

The only "specialised" tool you will need is a bearing puller, the rest can be done with a two bob toolbox that you buy from Halfords.

When mine actually need replacing, I'll quite happily put together a step by step "How To" in PDF, PPT, WMV and DVD format that will be free for everybody.

If you want it before that, cover the cost of the bearings and I'll do the job regardless.

They are not always a peice of piss, even with bearing pullers...
or the correct vauxhall specific tool.

Sometimes they seize, and require the trailing arm to be removed, much heat applied and bash the bastard out with a sledgehammer.
