My omega has developed a fault too, it will only go in 1st or reverse. I’ve had enough now, anybody want to take it off my hands?

First and reverse gears are all you need in Wales, thanks to your Dear Leader Mr Drakeford and his 20mph speed limit.  :y                                                ;D

I've just driven her around for twenty minutes and she has decided to behave perfectly again.

Smooth changes, all gears available in both manual and auto. She is 17 years old though and I am concerned her teenage episode' may be a portent of things to come.

I'll check out the cost of an ATF change. Local garage man charges £60 p/h INCLUSIVE OF VAT.
An ATF change should sort it properly.  :y

Hopefully. Auto box cars are generally reliable.

My first car, built by the communists at BL, had lost 2 of its 4 forward gears by 50,000 miles.

Thrash the balls of it in first then straight into top (4th) and hope for the best. ;D

I had a 1980 Ford Cortina Estate Auto with no second gear when I lived in Australia in the 1990's and it was the same. Had to trash it in first and it would slide straight into third as there was no second gear.  ::)

I did 13,000 miles around Australia in it though without any issues.  :y

Well I like it!  :y

I wonder what the depreciation is like though?  :-\    :o   ;D

If it is extremely rare, as I imagine it will be, it may go up in value.

Are you now ready to put your order in? ::) ::)

Ah shame, I was hoping it would be a bargain in a few years time!  ;D

I love Liverpool been a few times and we’re like brothers in arms👍 although I’m  a South wales type proper Welshman👍

Haha that's proper Walian fighting talk isn't it Rae?  ???

The North/South divide is probably stronger in Wales than it is in England...  :-\

The thing is with the Anderson affair is the Tories have yet again shown how useless and spineless they are by immediately capitulating to the hysteria and suspending him.  ::)

They could and should have taken the fight to Labour and their corrupt friends in the media and simply pointed out that the Mayor of London isn't doing his job properly, and although Lee Anderson could have chosen his words better, that was the message he was conveying.

I'd email my Tory MP and tell him, but I just know that he'd reply with the usual platitudes about having to be careful in the current climate, not pouring petrol on the flames, community relations blah blah blah.  ::)

Today we've seen Sadiq Khan going round accusing Lee Anderson of racism which is clearly absurd, and I have seen no push back from the useless Tory party.  >:(

I just caused some embarrassment on my walk with the dog. As my wife says, I would cause an argument in a telephone box  :-[
On Grimethorpe muckstack, there are loads of lovely conifers that have been growing for about 20 years, just starting to look full and smell lovely. They're cutting them down! When I asked why,  I was told they shouldn't have been planted in the first place, they are an invasive species. What about these twáțs who come over on boats? I asked. They're an invasive species, are we gonna chop their fùckin legs off?
Silence. I walked off.

Nearly all of which are young men of fighting age. Where are the women and children and old people? ::)

As soon as they get off the inflatables they unwrap their new mobiles & phone the wife & kids to tell the that they've arrived safely
and will be sending some of their benefits back home, scrounging cu**s.

Once they've got the council house or more likely these days a new build apartment, they can bring the wife, kids, Uncle Abdul Cobley and all!  :-X
