probably air in the lines now ,fully charge the battery and crank it several times ,unless there is provision to remove a pipe or sensor to bleed the lines .
tractors are a pig to get started up initially after getting air in the tractor juice lines

There is a primer bulb in the engine bay. I gave that a good pumping before starting it. Battery was low though, so its on charge now.
Working dayshift tomorrow, but asap will try again and maybe crack of the pipes to the injectors to bleed out the air.
In fact Im getting tempted to go out now with a torch and give it a try, as its driving me mad.

I'm contemplating some new bulbs for the Jag again.  But the £150 a pair is causing a certain amount of clenching ;D
.

   what bulbs are they then?
Really expensive ones ;D

the primer bowl won't let air out the HP lines ,
at least the ecu is happy and engine management has light has STFU  ;D

If only. Tried cracking off the pipes and turning it over, then tightened them up and it did the same as before. Started on probably two, then cut out after a few seconds. Read the fault codes and I have a new one. P0201 - yes the injector open circuit has moved from number 4 to number 1.
Ffs, all things French are shite !

have a rest , put allo allo on the telly box
try tomorrow with a good battery and make sure all the plugs checked ,earth points sound etc
worth a jump lead from the negative of the battery to the block too from experience of French wiring  :-X

The jump lead to the block might be worth a try. I should have thought of that myself. Working tomorrow so it will have to wait, but in the meantime I will get the battery fully charged.
Swan vestas are now on standby though. Fed up of spending £8 per day on petrol just to go to work and back.

8 quid will get me 30 miles in mine if i'm lucky  ;D  sub 24.5mpg  average
cheaper matches are available ,swan vestas are pricey
it's Christmas , apparently  ::) a shame you have to work ,
so treat yourself to driving to work in comfort in the Omega
don't stress out ,bills will still be there in January

Im driving gently in mine and currently averaging 25.4 mpg on the 33mile return trip to work.
The only difference Christmas makes to me is having to work a lot more hours, but thats my fault. I should have attended school and listened a lot more when I was there.
Its very nice driving to / from work in the Omega, but every time I come home the little red pile of shite still sits on the drive taunting me.
The bills will indeed still be there and be joined by plenty of others.
I don't like giving up, but that box of swan vestas is calling to me, and it gets louder every day.

..... I come home the little red pile of shite still sits on the drive taunting me.
it senses your frustration and feeds off it ,don't let it ,ignore it for now ,then attack it with a fresh head (and a fresh battery)  :y

I don't like giving up, but that box of swan vestas is calling to me, and it gets louder every day.
don't waste money on matches , it's french , leave it long enough and it will burn itself down  ;D

OK , i'd best STFU
probably not helping with my jokes  :-X

Washed the Posh Vectra, and fitted some Osram nightbreaker+ as well :)
I'm contemplating some new bulbs for the Jag again.  But the £150 a pair is causing a certain amount of clenching ;D
.

Mm.. not cheap then :o I’ve bought some cheap D2S  bulbs for mine from power bulbs.. Ultra Gt had the about six weeks and are very good at least so far  :y
.  Of course if they are the same.
