Which wires to move over to new amplifier ?
« on: 28 September 2008, 15:15:20 »

Ok, so now I have purchased myself some 6x9s (100watt rms) for the parcel shelf (now finally cut out, took ages !!!!)

Some 10cm's for the rear (30 watt rms) and some 17's (40 watt rms) for the front, all now installed, btu as my head unit is not man enough to cope with the extra power load I am going to have to get myself an amplifier that i would like to mount in the glove comparment.

Only difficulty is, Im not too sure what wires to move over to the amplifier ?

Am I correct in making this statement

On the Audio connector on the omega on the ISO plug, i remove those wires the + and the - and then move those over to my amplifier ? and run RCA leads from my head unit to my new amp ?

Because I really do not want to run new wires from my amp to each individual door (as I have now put all the door cards back on again lol)

Any help would much be appriciated

Thanks

No air flow - put it in the boot

I suggest leave door speakers on the H/U and run phono terminated coax to the boot, along with 12v, and trigger cable, and use that for the parcel shelf speakers.

I have put new cabling to the front doors, not easy
