Electrical problems
« on: 15 October 2008, 16:05:16 »

When i bought my car, the dashboard lights didn`t work , the seat adjustments and the alarm for the lights being left on never worked. About a year ago, the dashboard lights came on permanently, only turning off when i took the keys out of the ignition. Then about a month later they went out again never to work since. The same happened about 9 months ago with the headlights left on alarm . That worked for a few weeks, the went off again. I`m not too worried about the seat adjustment. Would they all be electrically linked together? Has anyone got any idea for the reason? I am thinking maybe the earth is loose. I have no experience of car electrical systems, so if any can start me off where to look, i would appreciate it
 Thanks

Perhaps the dash is not seated properly...have you tried refitting it to be sure?? Seat adjustment may be motor failure in the seat??
