« on: 27 April 2016, 12:23:49 »

In this instance four new Dunlop Sport Blue Response 195/50/15.

H rated so only good for 130 MPH. :)

£203.96 including fitting on my drive by a mobile fitter from  cough...cough......'a well respected tyre company' ::)

Yep.....at £50 a corner including fitting new valves and balancing the price seems reasonable.

Nice paying 50 notes per corner and getting quality rubber, compared to Omega's!  :y

Yep......Standard fit are 185/55/15 but for some crazy reason cost about £15-£20 a corner more  than the 195/50/15 alternative that I chose.

Same scenario with the Signum......standard fit are 215/50/17. I plumped for 225/45/17 in the same brand which saved about £100.

Presumably its demand, I mean you've got tesco, asda, sainsbury's, B&Q, etc etc.

That's a lot of shopping trolleys  ;D
