stipped out the sunroof ecu and cleaned the plastic disc  to stop the phantom opening of the sunroof. easy job and a little silicone grease to help it to run smoothly. :y

Also changed the rear exhaust hanger on the jeep as it had broken its lip. piggin thing to took ages to get off as the 2x18mm bolts were tight all the way out, ::) plenty of WD40 and a backwards and forwards with a long breaker bar and it came off eventually. Bolts coated in plenty of anti seize grease before refitting.

Not to the car, but playing with OOF's hardware.  Finally yanked out all the disks in one of the servers and rebuilt it diskless.  Had the air compressor on it as well, as the fans were previously going a bit mental.

Thanks very much Jaime. :y :y :y

Washed and polished Oscar and cleaned the engine bay today, it's starting to get up to my standard now. I can't stand a dirty engine bay, I think the last owner must have lived on a beach with the amount of sand I removed from around the strut top mount areas.

If that was a local vehicle, I am not surprised. I lived on the Firth for 8 years, and blown sand/topsoil due to farming practices was occasionally a serious issue. :y

I was gonna change the oil on the Bullet, but:

a) my back is still buggered today
b) not enough oil

So I put a litre in to replenish what it seems to be dumping every time its stopped.

a) Stick to drinking Tea  :D
b) I bought four from the dealers the other day as I thought the stock may be a little low in the shed, opened the door and found six LOL.

...on the upside a nice oil leak keeps the floor pan rust free!

Can sort you some out (also have a faulty door solenoid as well) so can drop some off when next passing.

Took 35L of used oil to the oil recycling tank at the local tip as well! I must go more often LOL
