Key fob not working

Hi all key fob stopped working got a new central locking unit, numbers matched up to the old unit and it worked a treat for like a week. Done the paper clip test and it's showing wrong immobiliser code is this releated? And how can the fob be fixed lights all Woking on the fob n it's all held together ok tried to sync the key from the ignition too no luck  :-[ hellllppppp lol

What fault code did you get? There are several related to the immobiliser.

As I recall on the '96 V6 CDX, that I used to have, you always got one particular immobiliser code if you tested without the engine running.
I can't recall which fault though, might have been 143.

So it could be that your fault is a red herring but it sounds like it's not eliminated in this case.

Fault code is 145 'wrong immobiliser signal' but she still starts, this code was present before the 2nd hand central locking unit module was installed
