They put these cameras up on part of my commute about 9 months ago (rural A road, nobody to upset or maim, but "popular with bikers"). >:(

So, all this time, I've been a good buy along there. About 2 weeks ago I noticed the infra-red lights half way up the poles have now been turned on. Guessing they didn't have power until just now. ;D

I wonder if Rishi will appoint Rod Stewart as chief coordinator?

What if we used former ministers as initial ballast for filling the holes? They're no use for anything else, and there's loads of them....

I see absolutely no reason to wait until they're former ministers.

Going back a step or two... Compression results that differ from one bank to the other speak of one bank that's got the wrong cam timing. An easy thing to check before stripping it down.

The gift that keeps on giving.

Labour wont be worried.

Be interesting to see how Cleverlyintends to stop your boat people.

I could tell you how he won't. The clue's in the name. ::)

But I'm sure its Agile and Transformative, maybe even Lean.  So they can all pat their backs about how crap it is.

If we're into wankwords, then all I can offer is Minimum Viable Product. Mostly minus the viable. ;D

This reminds me. A bit of the undertray just behind the wheel arch liner on mine has got mangled, so need to fix that some time.

It appears to be made out of recycled cardboard, so not surprised it didn't fare well spending 6 years under a car. ::)

Rae's nailed it with this beauty!  8)  This is exactly like my Marina, same colour and everything, but minus the black stripe down the centre of the bonnet.   :y

Although I can't remember if mine had the vinyl roof or not.  :-\

You can keep your crappy Ital, that's Kevin Wood's former love;D

I suspect the Ital was more for necessity rather than lust in the case of KW. :)

Well, it was free, so I can't grumble.

Being an estate there was plenty of space in the back for lust, but without the legendary pulling abilities of the Marina, this went untested. ;D

Sometimes I miss working for a company in Munich.

Then again, I don't have to deal with german engineers any more. :-X

4,550 miles is still enough misery for a car to hand out.

Don't expect a single recovery of more than a couple of hundred miles. There are excellent reasons, both for you and the workers, why this is the case.

One of my kit car mates broke down in Glencoe once. IIRC, he was with the RAC who sent a local company out. They loaded his car up and drove back to his home in Egham in one hit whereby he gave the driver a cup of tea and he headed back off up to Scotland! :-X

I replaced a load of fuel hose when I relocated the fuel pump in the Westfield a couple of years ago. All the new stuff is perished now. The 24 year old Codan branded stuff from when I built the car is still fine. >:(

I wonder how many people lost their jobs after this little lot
..

They have no business driving with an IQ that low, what in the world did they expect to happen, even the vehicles meant for those conditions are taking a chance.
Note how the chap in the L200 took it nice and slow. He obviously appreciated the fact that his air intake was on the bonnet :y

If the bin wagon had rolled through rather than hit it like a train he'd have easily made it without issue.

Yes, I'd be willing to bet that the bin lorries air intake was just below the windscreen somewhere. The air filter housing would be lower, behind the front bumper, but should be watertight.

If he hadn't gone in like he was driving a Challenger tank....  ;D

I was just waiting for that Disco's auto box to explode when they were towing it out!

cost including the purchase approaching £40,000

That's an insane amount for a B! But still, if it's what he wants and has the money, why not!
.

He's a complete fanatic about MGBs his ambition is to have the best V8 in the UK , nothing has been neglected in the restoration of the car , but his other half has no idea what he has spent on it so far.

I've been helping a neighbour sort out a few issues with his but don't think I  could  muster enough love for something with such terrible handling.

In fact, I nearly had a moment on the first roundabout - with only half of the V8 firing. ;D

Believe that Scotland may be getting the worst of it.

I am in Scotland now.. Supposed to be gliding, but not today. ;D

It's just "raining a bit". But everything is closed due to the red weather warnings of approaching apocalypse so getting a bit bored. ::)
