General Car Chat / Re: Car Upholstery Cleaner ?

Anyone used this http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_204351_langId_-1_categoryId_255236

Its cheaper and its got the brush with it  :o
It's an odd looking thing ain't it  ;D ...one review stated the top part came/broke off after 10 min use  :-\

In terms of removing general marks and dirty stains it proved to be very good. However, it is a bit flimsy and the plastic cover that you press for operation broke off after 10 minutes. The top end also snapped off and had to be replaced on a number of occasions. However, it didn't affect the overall performance but if you pay for a product you would expect all the functionality to work well.

Thats ok i can use 3 quarters of it and snap the top off and get a replacement  ;D ;)
True  ;D :y

Omega General Help / Re: Power Upgrades

Can't see how having traction control disabled will aid 0-60  :-\
Theres a button to turn TC off and on whenever on V6 models can't see police having a different TC set up, Just chipped ECU and lighter and presumably manual more bite for quicker  acceleration  ???

Can't chip a 3.2, its a myth that plod ones have been, not seen any viable ECU flashes available, ones that are give 5% max.

Police Omegas are actually heavier, only mods are that they have a beefier alternator to deal with plod kit, heavy duty springs and sometimes a LSD. Loaded up with plod gear, they are not hugely fast due to the weight.

Without the junk on board, would go as well as standard MV6.
my mistake then, Just thought I've read on more than one occasion on OOF people mentioning ex-plod ecu's are in high demand. Most plod had 15"/16" wheels also which would have added to quicker 0-60 not much but every little helps as Tesco say  ;D.

I had it in my watch list

I put it out to Shiply to get  it transported back but the cheapest bid i got back was 150 quid

Making it not such a bargain  :)
Still a cheap fast and reasonably modern car for just £312  :o ..Not many other cars out there at this price matching Omega's size, RWD, age, Power 3.0 V6... I'd have happily paid £313 for it  ;D

So you got a 3.2 by the looks of your profile  ::)
Aye, more info on it in a few days  ;)
