idiots guide to car audio

 :-[with me being the idiot, something that covers the basics, so i have a rough idea of what i may need,and the terminology, is there a book or a dvd that i can buy

There is actually a Haynes Manual on In Car Entertainment, and its not a bad book to be honest.

You can certainly get it in Halfords, probably cheaper on Ebay !!
