Should be fairly straightforward Terbert. Junction 8 (A40) towards Oxford. Pick up the Eastern bypass (turn left ;) ) towards Cowley A4142 - again should be signposted. From the junction with the A423 Ring Road, take the A4074 towards Reading - the roundabout with Sainsbury's on one corner, take the left turning sign posted Cowley/Wallington/Oxford Science Park and you eventually come to the ground on your left. ..simples :y
-
Thanks Ian.... :y

It's gone a bit quiet, are we still on for Sunday :-\

Well the weather really shone on us for this one. :y In fact, a little bit too much as I've got a sunburnt bald head. :P ;D Oh, and white eyes as I suspected. :P ;D ;D
Was good to meet up with the guys again (and Christine) and special thanks to TB for the Tech II treatment. :y
It was a good day socialising and generally chilling out. :y Some photo's were taken but not by me so you'll have to be patient.
Good choice of date/weather and venue MV6 MAN. :y
Regards
Alan

Excellent venue...good turnout and 'some' nice clean cars. ;D ;D ;D
Thanks J for the T2 check.
Nice also to get out of the sun and have a pint.
Christine enjoyed the meet too, albeit her Kindle was welded to her nose for much of it. And also thanks you guys for your courtesy.
I don't expect my pics will come up to 'David Bailey Ian', but I'll put them on in the morning.
Tony

nothing wrong with 2.2, just felt a little small surrounded by v6's :P , but the car coupled with the colour i think made it the baby :-* of the day.
(just to add, the 2.2 is the biggest engine ive had so far, but a six pot would be nice in the future)
-
Nought wrong with the 2.2 :y
Actually, thats a complete lie. Its missing 50% of the engine ;D
Joking aside, its an easy engine to work on, and (as having met you, assume you are not as old as me) a v6 is going to hurt on insurance.
T'is a bit gutless though ;D

I was umming and arrring about getting it in the first place, but i wanted it so much, i knew insurance would be an issue (being 27), i was paying 450 for the 1.6 astra, the 2.2 is now costing me 850, (8 years no claims) but its worth it, robbing barstewards!
Nice to finally meet you by the way, twas good :y

well i am a grumpy old git and that is what is wrong with the 2.2 is the cost of insuring the damn thing...just done a moneysupermarket check and i would be £ 50 a year better off is i was driving a 2.6..makes no sense... :y
