Heya guys, I've got a 2.6 mv6, and ive just recently acquired a 3.0l engine for spares, done some research but not many definitive answers, too much controversy, just want to know what can be used off the 3.0l to improve the performance of the 2.6, thankyou :y

Fit the entire 3.0l engine for the biggest and most cost effective improvement.

I would love to mate but insurance would ruin me for an engine swap, the gains would not be worth the insurance uprise :(
-
No point attempting to upgrade the 2.6 then ::)

Don't tell em, your average insurance company just write omegas off now, without any inspection..... Awaits the usual death threats for even thinking the above.

That.
Bolt the car's induction and manifolds to the 3.0l and it looks like just another stock Omega.

Yeah i think that be the way it has to be ;) im gonna paint it and replace gaskets and that so it won't be for a while till it goes in, but may have found out its actually a 3.2 and not a 3.0 due to someone commenting saying he done a conversion to that omega, just awaiting upon a reply for the engine code :D
