Be realistic, it wouldn't buy an Omega.....

...it would buy two.

Always had Hankook from new getting Yokohama this time .

Does yours go off-road much? Was wondering how you found it with standard road tyres. Given mine will spend getting on for half of its time in a field, I'm thinking something like the grabbers may not be a bad shout.

Fair bit of off road use + here in the fens if we get Snow my trip to work has some interesting back roads ! Had the Yokohama tyres fitted this morning look very chunky all terrain type £417 fitted balanced new valves etc 10mm tread Hankook were always 9mm used to get around 24,000 miles out of them always change tyres at 3mm.In 2015 I paid £427 for the Hankooks so pleased with the price.

Sounds good  :y

After I posted, I had a look on black circles and it seems that pretty much all the choices in that tyre size have an All Terrain / knobbly look to them, so I shouldn't have an issue finding something suitable when the time comes.

Discovered that the wheel couldn't be repaired. Bugger.

Discovered a new one is £650. Bugger.

Discovered, even with discounts, a new one is still £540. Bugger.

Permission to say bugger?

Is this on the Jaaaag?

Broken it through my own stupidity. Was in multi story car park in Newmarket looking for a space and something maybe distracted me :-\ Thought i,d stopped but probably wasn,t on the brake enough, (it,s an auto) next thing, BANG. Straight into one of the pillars. Bonnet, offside wing, bumper and headlight for starters. Arrived home on a Manchetts recovery truck and will have a closer look tomorrow but i reckon Goldies next trip will be to Whip St Motors in Bramford. It was a Cat C anyway so no value there anyway but will be a huge miss as i,ve had it 5 years so know it,s been loved. BUGGER.  :'(

Sorry to hear that. We all make these little mistakes, but it sounds like you've paid a heavy price for your one.  :(

Two tyres on the back of the project car. Seem to have worn the previous ones out rather quickly!
