General Discussion Area / dentist
« on: 12 December 2013, 22:12:57 »
Had the pleasure of a visit to dentist today for tooth extraction, the lady dealing with the offending brute pulled and twisted for no kidding 15mins eventually breaking it off at wind and water line! Pulled with all her might and yes it hurt.I now have been refered to some specialist in the near future to have my gum cut to remove root so just wondering has any one else had this done. Let me know what its like, didnt mind the dentist until today!

Omega General Help / Shocks / central locking
« on: 08 November 2013, 16:58:31 »
Finally got around to fitting new SL shocks which all went great following the guide, the old shocks were both quite rusty with one leaking. However as most Mig owners know 1 fault sorted normally means another is not far away. The central locking on the drivers door sometimes works but mostly fails or just moves a little, does this mean motor is dead or is it failing from somewhere central? Any help appreciated thanks

Omega General Help / Cambelt change(Jamescdx)
« on: 26 October 2013, 20:31:22 »
Jamescdx came to sunny Ipswich last w/e (pigged it down all day actually)to change my cambelt on my V6 , this guy really knows his way around these engines and carried out a full change of tensioners, belts and waterpump,James was open to my constant questions and shared his knowledge freely. I didn't realise how much is involved including special tools, everything went back including re-routing vacuum pipes correctly and checking other parts on the car. I strongly recommend (i know it costs)having the belt change as the car now runs next to silently :)and pulls better than ever since i've owned it. James won't leave until 100% happy ,thanks mate. :y
