Well, none of you men have commented on this sad saga.

Great northern football clubs, with superb history and pedigree, going under......perhaps??

Now I have little interest in football, but from a commercial point of view I am very interested.  What has, and is going wrong?  How many other FC's could also go the same way?

Is it passion, and stupidity, ignoring the need to make a profit in this business?  Will the only FC's left be the great ones, like Liverpool, Machester United, Arsenal, etc?

Do they not suffer with having Man U / Man C so close to them ? also Bolton has staggered from one financial crisis to another for a few years now

Any man who can afford a Merc finished in a fetching shade of seventies BL brown can't possibly be short of a bob or two.

Basically, the Premier League and Championship to a lesser extent have destroyed everything else.

Cap the wages of all, and I think we'd see more smaller clubs flourish, rather than just half a dozen super rich clubs.
